I didn't take your comments in the way it seems Fahaka did. Weren't you talking about the marketing tactics of sellers and not that Fahaka needed something new?

I asked on another thread if anybody had seen any blue red devils that they were all over the place in specialist fish stores in the tri-state. it looks like some people think its imaginary fish like a purple unicorn. I have seen many of them in late 80's to early 90's. i was just trying to think of cichlids that I don't see anymore. They are lab. red devil , all nuetral color blue , not grey and not barred, not a bright blue like some kind of hybrid like blue dempsey of some kind of flower horn. I know I'm not crazy or seeing things.

Just Barred Labs with a slight blue tint. I know the book cchhcc is talking about as I have it. My old Zal male had a slight purple tint to him. Deinently has to be good genes and diet.
