So... I was suppose to be cutting bioload for my upcoming vacation. Wife was happy to see all the fish go (bye bye luteus) eventho she knows that I'll be restocking after we come back. Well... came across few pieces of fish that I just cannot resist. Have been sleeping in the guest room for the past few nites again......


How many blue eyes can you count? ;) This is after a buddy snatched up a gorgeous 6.5" bright bright eyed blue eye...

Well, the farm claims they are BES, but when I saw the pictures I was pretty sure that they were BEC. 4 BECs left. These fellas are trying to take over the tank!
 
I've seen these in person and they are BEAUTIFUL! I've seen many blue eyes before and I have to say this group is in flawless shape and condition. The fins are not torn, streamers are straight, no blemishes. Solid black body with piercing blue eyes. Theres a couple under 10" which is very difficult to acquire. Blue eyes usually come in monstrous over 12". Good Pick Up Bro. Can't wait to see your new phase 3 luteus!!
 
Your crazy or dedication to the hobby, but I agree I would sleep on the floor too or outside if i had a wife. Ha ha. Beautiful creatures!
