Blue-faced yellow labs?

I was at my lfs the other day and in one of the tanks there was one male yellow lab with a blue face, I have seen them online in the background of pictures (rarely) and if I look it up I can't see one on images or any forums. I think they are probably hybrids but I was wondering if it's the same thing as the 1 in 1000 blue-faced dragon bloods.

Anyone know?

Some variants of L. caeruleus have hints of blue in various parts of their body, including the face, but if it has a solid blue face/head it is 100% hybrid.

Yea, it was probably a hybrid it was dark blue and solid coloration.

Wow, that's pretty. I was refering to the dragon bloods with only the blue face though, but that's a good example too.
