I just got a ghost knife that was they told me was a blue ghost knife. It is similar looking to a brown, but has a deep blue body. I have never seen this knifefish before. Any care recommendations? What should I feed it? I'm going to assume it is like a brown knife care until I get a for sure answer.

Also, does anyone know what the scientific name is?

Thank you

Never heard of a Blue Ghost Knife but offer frozen Bloodworms.

not that great of pictures, but it shows kind of what it looks like. When in the light, it is a blue color. it is 3in right now.

they wrote it wrong, I looked it up but forgot. I will look in my book tomorrow and do some research and find out. but take some more pics

It ate bloodworms this morning with the light on. The store said they never got the knifefish to eat.

It might be hard to tell, but it looks like it has a small white band near the tip of the tail. I would try to get a better picture, but it disappears for 30 minutes or more at a time.
