Here is an update of my johanni fry that i was not expecting 4-27. Also believe the female is brooding agian.

Thanks, I wasn't expecting to have any fish breed. I thought that both johanni's were male

I have been keeping an African cichlid tank now for a 7 months and have had quite a few fish breed. I have 11 demasoni Fry In a 10g they are all about 1", my red zebra spawned 13 hybrid fry and I have a big lab and demasoni holding currently. I wll probably keep the labs and only the female demasoni's from this spawning. My 75 will be full to the brim with 40 cichlids once the labs and my demasoni fry move in there. I'll have to get rid of the hybrids and pare down ther tank as I hope to have pearl mutt fry in a few months as well. These fish are easy to breed as someone once said, just add water.
