Hey guys im thinking about installing one of those blue Night Led's for my Pygo tank is this a good idea? My friend has them on his saltwater tank but dont fresh water fish get moonlight also?

Dont want to stress the fish and it would be nice to see them at night without disrupting the scheduled light timer.

they are good. but i usually turn them off when i go to bed

I've never seen this before, can you post a pic?

on a saltwater tank this is used as low spectrum lighting because at major depths the light gets filtered to practicly no light.

I have never donr this on a fw tank, I just block off the light by putting duct tape over the glass that is under the tube. I make it dim enough to keep the ligh on 24 hours a day.
