Hello there every one. My blue licorice star fish lost one of his leggs yesterday he is in a 55 bowfront with a dusky jawfish, bangia cardinal,royal gramma, fire shrimp and the possible culprit a purple lobster. Could the lobster have snipped it off? Any ideas if I should move the lobster he is really nice looking if you ever see him out.

I think you mean Linkia, but yes it was most likely your lobster. It will get huge(at least a foot) and will take down anything it can catch. You will have to decide what you like more I guess and keep either the star or the lobster.
