How do blue LED's enhance the color of fish? Do the lights effect the way our eyes perceive the light spectrum, or do the lights have a physical effect on the fish that enhances their color?

oh blue light?

I think it just adds the blue

love my jag myself jaglover, really not sure what you are asking, by reducing the light spectrum say to blues then you are only allowing those colors with in the spectrum to show with out being washed out there by appearing brighter or more pronounced. this does not physically alter the fish. in truth it is a bit more complicated than that but that is a cusp of it.

I've always wondered the same. It doesn't seem like you see a lot of pics of this lighting.
My robertsoni doesn't need it because you can still see her when the lights are off, so I wonder what the blue would look like.
