so my chick friend has gotten interested in fish keeping so i brought her to my local fish store. pretty much she wants every fish that can not go in my tank. well she seen this blue line blue hook siver dollar and she wants it it cant go in my tank because the fish is 13 inches all my fish are still small. its 99 dollars and the owner of the fish store said the are rare i did some research and all i can find is blue hook silver dollars nothing about blue line blue hook ones, so either its really rare or B.S any one have info on this fish how much bigger will it get can it live as a single fish in a 80-100 gal tank? is the price right?

It is a wide barred silver dollar with a bluish grey hook. Metynis schumbergi- sorry about spelling. They will get as large as a dinner plate. They are better kept in schools of at least three. The red barred silver dollar does not get as large not much larger than a regular silver dollar. Both are sort of rare and expensive.
