Just curious if this is normal behavior or if I should medicate.

I picked him up yesterday he is swimming back and forth in the QT against the edge of the glass. He doesn't make every trip against the glass. I don't see any growth on him.

Should I treat for Ich as a preventative?
 
He is eating. I put 2 inches square of nuri in the tank a day. I'm guessing that he is consuming all of it since it disappears (I have never seen him nible on it). He also eats flake.

For a while I thaught he was scratching his snout against the glass. Now I'm thinking that he was just looking for algae.

He has no spotts on him when he is not in cammo mode (not sure what else to call it) He has two when he is in cammo mode but that may have nothing to do with anything. I'm not sure. I tried to get a picture but it didn't work.

He is very skittish. He raises his fins (on his back) and looses his color whenever I walk near his tank.

How long does it take for these guys to get used to the new enviroment? tomorrow ends week one.
 
my fox face was very skittish for atleast a week and then after that if i ever walked up to the tank he would generally stress and loose his color
