i've got my clown loaches in a 125 gallon with some cichlids (geos, wavrini, sevs, a couple other guys), and they get along great. ive also got a 55 in my bedroom with blue botia with africans (zebras, german red, acei, bumblebee, some guys i have no idea what they are, yellow lab, female venustus).
now, i really feel that the blue loaches are going to want more space. (they really do a good job beating the pulp out of the africans at feeding time, it's quite awesome. no real injuries, but they don't shy away from stealing food away from them). i'd like to put the blues in the 125 with the clowns, but i'm concerned about the safety of each species. will they hurt eachother? get along? be indifferent?
any personal experiences would be great.
