my female blue lobster has eggs from a plain crayfish. will i get some blue lobsters out of this or will they all be regular crays? also how should i care for them? i took her out of the 125 gallon when i noticed all the eggs under her and put her in a 10 gallon with a cave but no substrate just a glass bottom. any help would be appreciated. ty

The Florida blue lobster/crayfish (Procambarus alleni) Is one of the most widely distributed species in the US. It occurs in many color morphs (red, white, orange, black, brown, pied, and (of course) blue). It's quite normal for any morph to breed with another color within the species. The resulting color of any offspring is totally dependent on the dominance of the color genes.
