Hi,

I just cleaned one of my canisters and it is loaded with matrix, but it seems to have turned blue....is this normal?

Nah I have never put any treatment or die in the tank....

I have medicated with metro but that was colorless,I worked with levamisole, but that is clear....

Wtf is going on in my tank lol

Matrix is a deep grey that can look a little blue under certain lighting. The pic looks normal to me more or less like matrix

did you check your parameters? i would keep an eye on them for a few day and if they're okay then i would not worry about the color BUT i must say that i have never heard of anything like this happening....its freaky man!

looks like algae, or maybe cyano...
does it get light?

It is inside an eheim 2262...only gets opened once every few months...

I have aqua clay F4-10 in the same canister and there is no discoloration in that
