Blue motoro

I've attached two pictures of my female motoro. I've had her over a year, and she's grown from about 5" to close to 10" in that time. And I don't know if it's me or not, but I swear she's getting more and more blue around the edge of her disc all the time. Just looking for others opinions on this. First pic is with flash, second is without, and they're not doctored.

They get market shrimp (71/90 count) and smelt every day, and squid/cuttlefish a couple times a week. Earthworms occasionally too, but until a week or two ago they hadn't had them for a couple months (and she was getting the blue before I started with worms again).

The lighting is only a single 24" Aquaglow over a 72x26" tank, so I wonder if the dim lighting actually helps bring out the colours?
