Picked these two up today and hope i have a pair. The first is what im hoping to be a female, second i have no clue... There about 1"

Thats a female in all 3 pics. If you go back looking for a male, for one one with no pink on the belly and long front two dorsal spines.

Top one is male and bottom female

Yep, they're females. Males will be longer/thinner and lack the pink belly.
