IN FISH PARADISE
have any one heard of the red diamond severum or the blue diamond severum ????

i have never seen them or heard of them before ..

if any one have pic for them that ll be great

no they are severum and the scientific name was : Heros severus

for both of them .. i saw them on an asian farm price list so im sure 100 % they are severums

but could red diamond be the red shoulder severum ??? but what for blue diamond !!

They sound like fancy made-up marketing names. This happens a lot with things like discus and angelfish. A fancy name makes people think they're getting something different and new, so they buy the fish.

My guess is that the blue diamond severums are either A) turquoise severums, which do show nice blue colors as adults, or B) a dyed/hormoned fish (probably a gold severum), much like the blueberry oscars. If it's the latter, it's a gross practice and no one should buy those fish.

The red one is either a rotkeil, or more likely, a super red.

hmmmm well i guess im in the safe side as i ordered the red one
