Check the classifieds on Kingsnake.com. There are a few listed for sale. Make sure to do plenty of research before purchasing one, they're not exactly a beginner monitor species for the most part.

Thankyou!!Yes i have stumbled on that peice of info allready...this will be a little while till i purchse one, still have to build a cage for the fella to house hold him for life...just got the okei from the misses, under one condition once the cage is complete, down to decor complete!!Then i beleive i should have then the most information possibly required to care of one..then i shall purchase the fella!!Even both of my sons where awwed at the site of this lizard:headbang2but over all thankyou for the website & for the heads up!!

Good for you they are awesome lizards but you need to do lots of research on them. They are not the most difficult lizard but they are not the easiest either. Look into local reptile shows or bigger ones that you could drive to, it will be worth it and you will get a better price if you buy it at a table there.

Also be aware that chances are it will be wild caught... I cannot think of anyone that is currently breeding this beautiful but flighty species.

There are people working with this species. Its really worth the extra money and time waiting for a true cb one. They are in much better shape.

I saw a few of them at the Hamburg reptile show here in PA, beautiful lizards. :)

well thankyou to all first with the heads up and hookups on reptile shows this will be a future family event im looking foward to & also can he be housed in a 6foot tall by 3feet wide by feet long?Im also thinking of investing in this controlld sprayer that helps keep humidity n drinking on the touch of a button..Oh i just cant wait!!!!
