I've owned tegus, beardies and iguanas. Ive been looking into monitors but definately don't want anything to big. I want to know from people with experiance. I'm looking to buy right now, just getting as much info as possible.

never owned one but i do no they go 2500 a pair for male female and over a grand for a single. was looking at them my self

Yeah and I just read up more on their care. No thanks. They seem to be way to high strung and temperamental. I'm going to stick with my original idea with caiman lizards.

Go with a green tree. They take a lot of care but are well worth it in the end.

their very nice to have and all the care pays of but at the end of the day what you said is right they can be very sensitive

Theyre sensitive if you are not prepared, and if you buy wc adults. Digger I mentioned this in our pms.

yea thats true if ur fully prepared and fully ready for all their needs then they are the perfect show lizard

I really enjoy them but I'm going to give it some time and keep doing the research so I can give the proper housing and time to them. Varanio thanks a ton for the information. I started looking into these and quickly realized I would enjoy them but now is not the time. When it does happen (a year or so) plenty pics will go along with it. Right now I'm going to keep working with rays to hopefully get some breeding going on.
