as kobi stated check his link out. There is detailed and valuable info on how to quarantine, acclimate and such on that thread.

blue trees monitors are awesome but they break the wallet...

ok thanks guys,

soo I need to get a pair?
and he enclosure needs to be like 8'long by 3-4'wide and 5-6'tall
have alot of climbing material, a basking spot near 135 degrees and other parts of the enclosure about 75-90 degrees? Have a water bowl, tub.
first I have ti acclimatr them when I get them? try and get em feeding the first day and drink also, because there harder than most moniters to come back from being dehydrated. feed them cochroaches, mice, crickets dusted into viatamins?

I think thats it right?

oo can I build the enclosure in my backyard and leave em in there and bring them in at night or can I leave them out there 24/7? I live in cali.

Cali weather is not suitable for them. I use to live there and it wasnt good for any reptiles year round except for local animals and maybe argentine tegus. Id do all this indoors. I now live in S. Fl it is tropical and I have the luxury to leave them outside, but i still choose to leave them in as I have more control over temps. I do have some larger species outside though, they cope with it better.
