A look at the Blue Whale Catfish during feeding sessions (best viewed in full high-definition and full screen)...

Video starts with feeding with brine shrimps (yes, they are tiny, that's why better watch in full high-definition and full screen), then small, tiny feeder fishes, followed by third session with TetraBits Complete and finally, a piece of shark meat.

Looks like TetraBits Complete is a good choice of food for these fishes...

That's really cool. Do they keep that speed their whole life? Or just when they are young.

They are always fast (regardless of young or adult) WHEN THERE IS FOOD, otherwise, they will still be swimming restlessly but at rather irregular speeds (somtimes slow, sometimes quite fast, sometimes very fast --- that's why they seem to be crazy fishes). They are known to attack and eat fishes bigger than themselves and thus are not to be mixed with other species of fishes in the same tank.

So far, there aren't any cases of successful breeding in captivity... and keeping them alive is already a challenge. There are people who bought around a dozen but they all died within half a year. Why? -- I don't know

Those things are on crack! Very cool thanks for sharing.
