But credits don't really go to me, credits go to the farm that breeds such amazing Arowanas. Comes from the famous 'Golden Crossback Arowana Breeding Farm'.I feed him 3 different things.
1) Tilapia filet
2) Arowana sticks (the small ones from Tropical)
3) Cockroaches (Blaptica dubia)
In the beginning (got him at ~9¨) I only fed him sticks and Tilapia filet. Now he seems to not like it as much anymore and I started to feed 50% Cockroaches, 25% Tilapia filet and 25% sticks.
I know a guy who has a Crossback pair that had eggs multiple times already, and they hatched and he grew them out - here in Switzerland. He feeds his Arowanas a lot of Cockroaches, so he recommended it to me.
Yeah I agree. And thats in pure white light, cheap white LEDs. I'm considering buying some submersible LED lamps that have 50/50, white/blue LEDs.
So many different styles of lights to choose from but a regular maybe 25w UV at evening and yep any night time blue would make it look like a charm. currently have 3 lighting stages in mine + keep them all on different timers so the fish all know what time of day it is + i get to see them in different hue throughout. your fish will love it bro.
