I don't think it is ick it looks like he is missing scales. What do you guys and girls think it is?

i can't really tell, but it looks like he got some scales torn off. my oscars get like that occasionally after fights. one tried squeezing through a small hole in a rock and tore half his scales off. his flesh was so white and puffy, i thought it was columnaris
 
Yeah Onion1 he gets picked on a lot there is the alpha bluegill that picks on him and the 14 inch largemouth bass that picks on him.
 
is there any tank he could go in? He might not last long there
 
it would be good to give him some time to rest. at the very least give him more hiding places to rest and recover in

Good one Ewurm. Onion1 I am working on a rock cave for the 125 after school today and it should be ready by the end of the weekend.
