Hello I have a 75g tank with a 8" pleco and about 10 platys with a big piece of driftwood and some rocks. I havent had time to stock it but its been running for good 4months. My buddys brother has a 5in bluegill that he doesnt want i offered to take it off his hands.

Right now I want to know whats the best food to feed. And want to know if the fish is a jumper. Because atm i dont have a lid on the tank.

yeah they jump, I remember when me and my friend were taking a couple home in a tall bucket all the way home we heard thumps on the bucket lid from the bluegill jumping and there was only like 5" of water in a 2ft bucket

they jump, they like to eat worms and sometimes flake or pellets, watch out because he might eat your platys

Well the idea was for him to eat the platys. Also what other tank mates can i add, i was thinking about parrot cichlids or some other cichlids like a oscar.

An oscar would get killed by a bluegill, they are very nippity. Any other centrarchid sunfish of the Lepomis family would work, like the pumpkinseed, longear, green sunfish, ect. As far as diet, mine eat everything. Worms, flakes, shrimp, pellets, freeze dried shrimp and gammarus, frozen bloodworms, gamarus, ect. They also eat some vegetable matter, mostly the frozen veggie stuff. They eat alot, and are always hungry.

I have 115 bluegil in a 800 gal setup the all way under a pond most of them aren't probably more then 2-4 ounces how much pellets do you recommend I should feed every day
