Would it be wise to add a bluegill into a 55gal tank with 2 pb, 2 rtc, and 2 sterlet sturgeon.

1. pointy (sturgeon) 6.5in --> 16.51cm
2. round (sturgeon) also 16.51cm
3. monk (pbass) 5in --> 12.7cm
4. champ (pbass) 6.75in --> 17.15cm
5. old (rtc) 8in --> 20.32cm
6. new (rtc) 7in -->17.78cm

Im working on that situation atm... only thing im concern atm is a place for the bluegill...its home is a 5 gallon bucket...

Only if you took everything else out. A 55gallon is big enough for 1 full grown bluegill alone. It is also far FAR too small for any of the fish you have in there now.

i don't think hes keeping the fish in there for life and its better than a bucket

the bluegill is about 4in...and thanks, Amber for acknowledging that I wont be keeping them in there for life...I plan on upgrading within 6 months from now...saving up for the big tanks

i would say put it in there i have three in a 40 for now and they are doing fine only thing i would watch out for is the rtc eating him they have huge mouths and the fins could also hurt the red tail if he trys to eat him but its better then 5 gallon bucket good luck

thanks MFK brotha and sista
