blueish lighting

So I was staring at my aquarium, which has a standard bulb that came with the hood of my tank. What if i change the color of light by placing a thin sheet of blueish clear plastic over the light. Well I did, and i thought it came out pretty nice. I am thinking about keeping it on, but i just wanted to make sure that a sudden change of light color won't affect my fish. By the way, it is on a 30gal. tank that has a BGK and common pleco
