Blurrrp. Burrp. Blurrrp. Oh! Hi!!

Greetings ... obviously a newbie to the Forum since I'm posting here. My familiarity, though, with Forums, their policy, code and behavior is well tenured.

I don't currently have aquaria - but have taken a lot of photos in the aquaria and aquatic environments. I've not done so for some time though; not since the '80s.

A revisit of those 'roots' since converting to total digital would be enjoyable. Therefore any pointers - fellow members of the Forum care to pass along - either as PM's, comments or links - are all fondly appreciated.

Looking forward to reading and viewing more on the Forum. So far, the view and comments have been quite beneficial and enjoyable.

See you in the reflections ...

Welcome to APF, Arthur!
I had 35 years experience with film before going digital in 2005. I found it quite difficult to turn my back on my familiar OM kit, as I knew precisely what it could do and what I could do with it. Starting from scratch with the D70 was a bit intimidating and quite expensive, but it has refreshed my photography considerably. The basics are still the same, but it's nice to check the results immediately after taking a photo and I really appreciate being able to shoot 500 shots in a session if I want to (it was only the pros who could do that with film).
I'd be interested to see some of your shots, old or new.

Alan
