Blurry eye with red ring? what's this?

Good day to all! I would greatly appreciate if anyone could help me out with my endli. She has a blurry eye with a red ring around it. The blurry eyes have been around for more than a month but the red ring just appeared lately. Other bichirs in the tank seem to be just fine. I have some pictures that might help.

Thanks anne, i bet it's due to injury. this endli always digs into the substrate with her face. Is there anything i can do to treat the eye right now?
