BN pleco breeding

hello i am new here. i have a question on how to breed BN plecos. I have a pair of them (male 5.5 in female 3.5 in) they are currently in a 40 gallon community. i was wondering if anyone could give some tips it would be much appericated.

I have a pair in a forty gallon commnity myself, and have had 2 spawns. The most important thing is to have a cave just a litle bigger than the male so that he feels comfortable and can protect the fry. After that my temp is 78 I feed alot of zuchini, and I think they usually spawn after large water changes.

Thanks alot for that info. Would PVC pipe work as a spawning cave? i do feed them zuchini and some bottom feeder tabs regularly. so hopefully they will spawn soon!

yeah pvc is what alot of people use. I think 2" is best fo bristlenoses
