boa constrictor imperator vs constrictor constrictor

Anybody know the difference between these 2? im gonna say imperator is central american and the other is south??? any difference on size and temperment? Also, is seems that all the designer boa morphs don't specify and are most likely imperator...just my guess though. Thanks!
 
In short, they are different subspecies of Boa constrictor species, as said above.

BCI: Boa constrictor imperator. These are the ones you usually see in pet stores, often mislabeled as "Red tailed boas"

BCC: Boa constrictor constrictor. These are the true red tail boas, and tend to be a bit larger and SOMETIMES tend to be more aggressive. I have seen quite a few puppydog tame BCC, and a bunch of BCI that were super mean. So in terms of aggression, it just comes down to the individual.
