I went fishing in the Resavore and I finally found a great spot to fish, but the only thing I caught was Crapie and 1 Perch I used a Bobber to catch all of these fish, I was wondering if I used a sinker would I catch a more variety of fish? Thanks!

the bait is more important. How are you rigging it up right now?

With redworms you will be more likely to catch bluegills and sunfish, you don't normally catch to many sunfish and bluegill on minnows.

We use the bobber to control the depth of the bait and a sinker will send it straight to the bottom and you will catch all the grass down there.

You use both just not to much weight or i will sink your bobber. Also crappies like minnows or grubs. Also you have to match their depth becuse they dont really take anything above or below them just on the same plane.

Use a sinker and a leader. That way your bait will stay off the bottom. That's the way to catch bigger and more kinds of fish.

if you are just trying to catch panfish then use a bobber with a sinker and a #6 hook. if you want to catch other fish like bass then your entering a whole nother world. for bass there are hundreds of diffrent lures you can use for difrent time of year, water temp, visiblity, ect. but my go to bait is called a slug-go, it can almost always produce a strike and is very easy to fish. you can also catch catfish by using a sinker and a leader to keep the bait just off the bottom, you can use premade catfish bait or make your own stinkbait. if you have more questions for specific fish, or want more info on these fish you can pm me and give me some details on the spot you fish at.
