I have a question  that I hope someone can answer for me. I got up yesterday to find one of my larger mystery snails(trapdoor closed) floating(bobbing), like a cork in the currents of my tank. This happened a couple days in a row but when I went to take it out(thinking it died), all of the snails are fine and attached to various things in the tank. hmmmm. My tank is a 33g long and there are 5 Mystery snails and 4 panda cories and 2 oto's. I was thinking maybe in the wild that's how they got to new feeding grounds, quickly, or scooted away from danger. Is that possible, or should I be reserving a rubberroom somewhere, for myself? :screwy:

hey, try putting something else that floats, like some unplanted water sprite, so the snails have something to attach to, and then eventually make there way to the wall

That IS a good idea...never would've thought of that...Thanks! ;)

They do that sometimes. Don't worry about it if they are still doing well.:)

I'm greatly relieved now, thanks! I was in super panic mode the first and second time it happened because I am sooo new at this and I gotta say..." I'm lovin it"

I once saw a snail trapped in a spinning vortex in the corner of a tank being blown in circles by the return water flow. Wonder if the poor guy ever escaped. Must have been dizzy.
