bog filtration

ok so im going to make a about 4500 gallon pond
10'x10'x6'
and i was thinking of making a bog filter to filter it
heres a picture of what it might look like

Ditch the mini pond and make the bog bigger. The amount of BB from the bio-balls can be created by using some gravel (golf ball sized) in the bottom of the bog. This will make for an area to plant directly into the gravel w/o the need for extra pots.
