Bog wood

How do you prepare your bog wood for the tank? I soak mine for a cpl of days then boil it a cpl of times and then soak it in water from the tank that it will go into for atleast 12 hrs.

depends on where I get it from...
normally just give it a good rinse, and then boil some water, toss it in a bucket, and soak it for a day or 2. Then Change water, rinse again, and soak another day...

there are several posts on this, use the search tool. i soak it for a week or so just to remove the tannings then boil it for a bit, and then its ready to go

I have my method on here somewhere. Too long to post. But then I like really big pieces. so do my plecs.
