Whats with the "JDM" ...i thought it had to do with japanese cars. And when i google "JDM aquarium" i get a guy sitting in his tank in a bathing suite. Just another name for "japanese style" tanks??

lol...yeah...JDM is used more often to refer to the japanese car industry, particularly with factory and aftermarket parts...

within the fish keeping world, it is a slang for japanese style tanks which is stocking a tank with fish that are large for the tank size while maintaining the fish's health
