Bogwood Questions

I feel really dumb for asking this but how do i clean bogwood?

1. Also a few other things i need to ask, is malaysion bogwood good?
2. Is the tint bad for your fish?
3. Do i need to scrub the particles off?
4. Is boiling really neccisary?

Also i dont mind the tint i think it give the tank a natural look.
