Boiling Bog Wood

Hi All,

Does anyone know of anything good that I can boil my bog wood in ?

I am trying to get some of the tanning out of it so it doesnt turn the water tea coloured. .

Some of the bits of wood are quite large. .

Or does anyone know of another way of treating the wood ??????

puy it in a large sink or bath tub put in there and fill. if it floats wedge in a corner you don't need to boil boiling kill bad stuff soak to realse tannis

I've used an old wash tub and built a fire outside and boiled some pretty large pieces.

just soak it for a week or 3

Soaking it for a 'week or 3' takes too much time man, do what ziggy said and you'l have it done in no time.
