Bit of back story
I had to move my brothers 3 foot community tank to my place on Saturday. The move went well and lucky for me none of the fish were lost during the relocation. Got the tank setup with 1 1000lph canister filter running on it. Had a 2nd filter 1200lph canister filter that had a leak so I couldn't set that one up till this morning when I found the leak and sealed it up.
Anyway, woke up on Sunday morning to find that during the night the bolivian butterfly fish had laid eggs on a bit of drift wood. Am very happy that I managed to get a pair of bolivian butterfly fish with only 2 of them
My concern though is because of the move the amonia, nitrite and nitrate have gone up a bit. I don't have another tank to house them in at the moment and I'm not sure if the eggs will hatch. And if they do hatch what is something good to feed the little fry?
