Ive had my lil female Ram since May, she was the first fish (along with a male) that I got when I got back into the hobby. She's always been active, and comes to greet me whenever Im in the room...
The last week or so, shes been lethargic, not eating, her belly is soo sunken in and she looks skeletal. Today I noticed a white lump between her eyes. She barely moved around the tank, her tail fin is extremely clamped and so are her anal fins. She seems to almost drag herself with her pectoral fins. She is also VERY dark and stressed looking.
She is in a ten gallon tank, that has been cycled for months. She has a small trio of cories, a group of 5 pristillas, and a curviceps in there right now with her. She has been fine for about a month with this grouping. There are some live plants as well. Parameters tested good, 0 Ammonia, 0 Nitrate, <5 Nitrate. The tank was treated about a month and a half ago for ich (tetras) and all of them have shown zero signs of a comeback. The temp is at 78 right now. There is a sponge filter on this tank only. I usually do every other week W/Cs as my levels have all been steady, but have been increasing how often I do them because of my Ram. She gets a variety of food, usually NLS with a bit of flake. She has never shown interest in bloodworms.
I will try to get some photos posted.
I am very worried that I may lose her...
The only thing I can think that may be wrong is a parasite/bacterial infection...
Want a second opinion.. Any ideas?
