My rams have spawned twice before unsuccessfully but this time i can see a few wrigglers, should i leave them with the parents or take them out if i can as i have read rams are bad parents.

lucky
:D
please give info on tank setup and temp and what not i want to try this
thanks

oo and to answer your question i would leave em in till they are free swimming and then in a week or what ever it takes them siphon them out in there own tank and feed em cruched flakes and blood worms
:D

I have a male and 2 females in an 18 inch cube with a fine covering of gravel, a plant and a couple of rocks (i need more plants in there really) the tank is run by a sponge filter which i have found more convenient to use for breeder and fry tanks, temperature is 80 degrees, ph 6.5 (our water is very soft)

Do you think i should remove the other female? Thanks for your advice :)

whats the tank size cause an 18 inch cube dont give much info on actual tank size

Crushed fish food and bloodworms are too big for Bolivian fry to eat. The best starter food for the first week is egg yolk. Boil an egg and squish some in a small cup of water, then you can squirt some egg yolk with a syringe where the fry are. And if kept refrigerated, the egg yolk solution will last 3-4 days, but I wouldn't feed any after that, make a new batch. After about the first week to 10 days, then you can start feeding Hikari First Bites.

i have got a microworm culture ready for the fry as a starter, ive heard about the egg yolk method before but have never tried it :)
