Bolivian rams can get aggressive towards each other when breeding or for territory but has anyone have any experience by overstocking them sort of like aftican cichlids?

Say like 7-9 in a 75 gallon

7-9 African Cichlids in a 75 gal. Is not really over stocking, but keeping 7-9 Bolivian Rams in a 75 gal. Should be an easy task. I kept that many in a 65 gal. Community tank, along with various tetras, an EBJD and an aray of catfish.
IMO, the secret to success is a spread out hardscape. Build rocky or DW structures in all corners of the tank and use the center part of the tank to build structure large enough to break line of sight. It's been a long time since I kept Dwarf Rams, but I remember dealing with aggression in that manner. Good luck.

It's the best way to keep them. Not overcrowded but in groups. They will shoal together, and sometimes squabble but do very well in gangs. I have 11 in a 210and they are very entertaining

I was just looking at "Gold " rams til I saw how much they want for them.

I just got turned onto Yellow Acaras, they are pretty cool too.

**not my fish** top fish looks a little different, I reserve the right to be wrong

Those look like three different acaras ... Krobia xinguensis, Aequidens metae, and Aequidens sp. Jenaro Herrera.
The Metae is the yellow acara correct?

Thanks for clearing that up. I like the Krobia xinguensis the best. Wish i could just go pick up a couple from the LFS.

Yes, though A. diadema and sp. Jenaro Herrera are both usually sold under that name too. As well as some other closely related species (I've seen Bujurquina vittata sold under that common as well for example).

Krobia xinguensis are usually seasonal, have seen both Rapps and The Wet Spot get them in.
