hey has anyone got any plans for a bolt together plywood build, i have very tight doorways where i live and i rent. so i would like to build a plywood tank around 8x3x3 that i can disassemble if i move, and i could build in in my garage rather than turning my lounge into a building site! i was thinking bolt together corners lined with a nice pond or pool liner then just using sealent on the corners once its together! when you need to move it just un-bolt and re-seal. has anyone got any plans and opinions on this?

Hmmmmmm.. depends how much time you'd wanna spend tearing it down and rebuilding it....
But maybe just your normal plywood build, fiberglass corners... when you wanna tear down, remove fiberglass and unscrew it all, move it, screw it back together and re-fiberglass the corners?
Prolly a lot more work then you'd think..

sounds like lots of work... im thinking of using contact adhesive to stick a liner to all the inner sides instead of epoxy or fibre glass then sealing the glass and corners with sealent, as long as i can make a good strong frame this should be fine right...? has anyone tryed a liner, must be much more cost effective right? ive made concrete shutters at work to hold massive amounts of wet concrete out of just ply, 4x2, and nails! i think drilling and bolting the corners would be stronger than screws anyhow! im gonna make up some rough plans and get some opinions i think...

I've had my tank up and running now for over 6 months with out a single leak, not even when I did't the test fill. I just built the panels and base and bolted them together. All I used to seal the corners was a very thick bead of silcone. Now if I ever move I'll just cut the silicone and undo the bolts. There was someone else that built theirs like this too. I've seen it posted here and other places to. If I can find the link I'll post it.

Cheers sross that would be well handy thanks.
