I posted a few weeks ago a thread here in the lounge when he just got hit by a car, we took him immediately to the vet and he had a surgery three days later, they had to remove his leg which was broken in three ways.
He has been healing very well and has started running around the house. Here is a video of him chasing a piece of dryed fish.

It's amazing how fast they adapt. I have a 3 legged german shepherd that was born with all feet, but she was being absorbed into her mama, who we was having trouble with delivery and ended up having to be induced. One foot didn't have fur, just the meat, claws, and pads. Eventually it fell off, from mama licking and taking care of her, and by 1 week old, we had named her Tripod, (Now Maya). She is faster than my 4 legged dogs, and since I have given her to my mom, she greets her with dead squirrels on the porch, just for her. :D She looks like she's kick starting a bike and has better balance and coordination than my other dogs. Congratulations on a wonderful and full recovery. He's lucky to have you.
 
you really can hardly notice it missing..first of all he is so cute you just look at his face and second he does so well with out the leg ... he looks natural........ what a sweetie..

my grandmum's cat was hit by a car also and lost its right hind leg. loves it when you scratch it behind the right ear lol
 
Glad to see he made a recovery! in the video i barely noticed he was missing a leg, he adapated so well!
 
good to see he's okay-he's so cute!
