i got another one on amazon, Freshwater Stingrays from South America (AQUALOG Special) from
Richard Ross. he's a a scientist who kept stingrays at the santa barbara zoo. anyone read these books?

Have never heard of his aqualog book but from what I remember, that line is mostly of picture and identification books. It should be good to have if the cost is not too great.

Don't know why you would want to buy a book when you have the internet at your fingertips! Don't waste your money. I appreciate there are some good books out there but you can find anything and everything you need to know on the net - if you cant find it, ask here and I'm sure you'll have your answer!

Books are nice to have onhand, in case of emergency, for others to look at, etc. Not everyone appreciates the value of a book, until the power goes out :)

I get the whole, why waste money on books when you have the internet thing, but most of my aquarium books were bought back before the web came about.I have a few recent pick ups because the price was right and I love to read.
