books on species of interest?

a lot of information on some species i can't seem to find particular faux gars/pikes that are charcains

also gulper catfish

any books that go into great detail on these?

I've never seen anything published about these fishes that would be aimed at hobbyists. You may get results searching for the binomial nomenclature of your desired species in Google, then selecting the scholarly results option to see any relevant peer reviewed publications.

there was a great in depth article regarding gulpers years ago. I lost it. Found it on google. Was pages and pages. Thats all i have found tho and i lost it.

Like gulper have an amazing ability that few animals have. THey can eat something larger more heavy than themsleves. I am shocking wild habits have not been studied. I was told by an avid fish researcher than in the wild prefered prey are angelfish. But it makes no sense because the angel fish are so high. Gulpers prefer longer things shorter, like a wolf fish for example.
