Care to name some of those books?

Would have been nice to list some of the titles. Here are the aquarium-related books I've read so far this year. Are any of these the same as you're reading?

My fish library is real small but I just started american cichlids II large cichlids. Really like it talks about most of the fish i lm into.

Didnt like tank busters at all.

Also liked the cichlid aquarium. Felt too much was devoted to africans but i really cant mnock the book for that, im just not into them

True the photos are nice.
Pissed that american cichlids II touched on all the vieja types except my fav (argentea)

Not to derail op's thread but anyone recommend a good book on ca cichlids and plecos

The current definitive work on plecos (Loricariidae) is:

Aqualog also carries a couple of titles but, I have yet to check these out.

To me Ad Konings book Cichlids from Central America is excellent, you just need to ignore genus names, because it's from 1989, and DNA research was in its infancy.
One of the reasons argentea may not have been in American cichlids II (published in 1995) is argentea was only first described in 1991.

I have that one in the amazon save list list....
