Can anyone recommend good books on fish?
I want to read up on mainly salterwater and cichlids but freshwater is always good too. I work at a petstore and I work in the fish department quite a bit.
I get lots of questions and I know quite a bit about freshwater fish(community fish). But I don't know that much about saltwater or cichlids.
So if you guys could suggest some good books on fish I'd appreicate it.
Thanks. :)

i know there is a "saltwater for dummies" book, i just saw it at the local library. you should definitely start with whatever your library has. while you are learning, if a customer asks you a question you don't know the answer to, offer to get their phone number or email and contact them as soon as you find out (which should be later that day after work or the next day). it's a really good way to show customers that you care more about them than to just say you don't know or make something up. you'll get their trust and their return business.
