A good alternative for crayfish (or other bottom dwellers). It's 6.6gal, and has a pretty decent footprint for crayfish. It fits easily on most desks, counters, etc as well as fitting nicely into standard bookcases and shelves, so it's easy to tuck out of the way. It's got a decent lighting system and a pretty good filter.
I'm really digging mine, and so are my crayfish. They're loving the expanded room to roam around and I'm just thrilled with it being about the same size as my other cray tanks (gallon wise) but being a much better suited shape. That and it's nice being able to put away some of my stands and open up some of my living space and surface areas (I can use my desk again! lol).
They're good for regular crayfish, but if you have some of the larger Indonesian or Australian species you're not going to be able to use this tank.
Anyway, just thought I'd share. ^_^
