Borax mine pics

About an hour and 45 minutes from me in the desert is the big ass Borax plant.The mine or hole is amazingly huge,the truck tires are 11 feet tall and the crane that unloads them has 3 flights of stairs to get to the cab,towers over the trucks,which could runover a house no problem.THought I would share pics,if you look hard you can see the trucks.They used to use a team of 20 mules and wagons to haul it,very popular place for western movies and such.Enjoy.THe last pic has a cave at the botom of the pic,that was a fall out shelter back in the day.
