hi i got a 6-7" borleyi and he picks on my 6" dolphin. so i took him out 4 the monent. how can i get the bullyn to stop. when the borleyi is in the tank he chases the dolphin till he hides

Lot of variables, but lets start with a few easy ones. How big and dimensions of the tank? Also what other fish are in the tank? I am assuming they are both males, if there are any females that are breeding size this may be your problem. Also more fish spread out the aggression. I have around 60 males in my 265 and plan to add more but I have almost no bullying. One fish may chase another but once he swims into a crowd its pretty much over. I have around 600lbs of rock in this tank as well, so there are plenty of hiding spots. Some people disagree with that much rock in with Haps/peacocks but they have plenty of room to swim freely. The argument is if the rocks aren't in the tank there are not landmarks for territories to be set up. With no territories the fish don't have a reason to defend a cave or territory. I like the look of the rock and dont have any issues so I the rocks in.
