i got a yellow lab in my Tang tank and she looks like she's holding. i havent feed in a few days so she cant be carrying food around. only think i can guess is the redfin borleyi did it. they are the only two malawis in that tank. is it likely?
anyways... I doubt anyone did anything... I have had fish hold without a male... she may try to mate with the other fish and then end up holding the eggs for a bit... my "blue dolphin" does it at times..
no, you cant go for a walk! thats healthy!! i was hoping they were 'dead eggs' after the y-lab and auratus did their thing in my 75, i dont want to do the baby thing again. my wife wanted to save all the babies.
As was said likely not fertile eggs. I highly doubt that they can cross, but you never know. You will know in less than a week. (IE she will either stop holding or she wont.)
she may hold longer... I have had fish hold for almost term and then have nothing... they want a baby like a 35 year old single women, but not man will touch them...(not that anything is wrong with them)
